Rob Lonsberry is a passionate, self-taught photographer from Cobourg, Ontario, Canada. His favourite subjects are birds in the wild. Having started off with an inexpensive film SLR with a kit lens, his skill has been honed from the bottom up. He’s been a hobbyist photographer for 10 years and has recently taken a step forward with his craft, sharing his work online.
He currently uses all Nikon DSLR bodies and Nikon lenses. See more information on equipment here.
Rob is a naturalist and a keen birder. He is an active member of the Willow Beach Field Naturalists.
Subjects range from the smallest insect to the grand landscape. Rob volunteers his skills locally for events such as the Northumberland Relay For Life and Alderville’s Prairie day in fundraising support for the locally rare Black Oak Savannah Habitat.
